Meet Your Hosts

  • Emma

Emma found yoga in 2016, and after the first class, she realised it was probably the first time she truly learnt to consciously breathe. Big belly breaths that had a profound effect on her stress levels and mental health. She fell in love with the physical movements, as well as the breath work aspect (pranayama) and ability to let go; to surrender to what is, or isn’t. Life became more of a fluid river than a tidal wave, simply using the tools of yoga on and off the mat.

Emma’s love for yoga turned into a love for designing yoga mats, which she began doing in 2018. Since then, Zen Bear has grown into a Worldwide brand with a vibrant community, that focuses on sustainability and giving back to the Earth.

Wanting to deepen her practice and guide others, in March 2020 Emma completed her Yoga Teacher Training in Goa, India. She trained in Vinyasa and Ashtanga and completed 200 hours. It was a profound month and she gained an immense amount of knowledge, including studies on ancient philosophy, anatomy, injuries, and adjustments from inspiring teachers. Emma’s classes are dynamic, fluid and feature elements of yin and yang; soft and strong. She loves seeing her students flourish in their own unique way.

  • Jess

Jess started her yoga journey 5 years ago, after happening upon the local hot yoga studio in London. She very soon saw the incredible benefits of this ancient practise in both body and mind, and set about researching and planning to become a yoga teacher herself. After living in India in her early twenties and working in Bollywood she already knew she wanted to head back there to train, especially as it is where yoga originated from and where she held such joy for the country and culture. Sampoorna in Agonda beach was where Jess gained her 200 hour Yoga teacher training qualification in Vinyasa and Ashtanga. It is also where she met Molly and Emma, her two yogi soul sisters who are her co-founders of True Nature.

Jess has also trained in Mindfulness, Meditation and Pre and Post Natal Yoga, and continues to expand her teaching knowledge to be the most inclusive teacher she can be. Jess’s classes are vibrant, positive, energetic and usually coupled to music that aids mindful and meaningful movement. The most important thing to Jess is for her classes to be accessible, inclusive and full of joy.

That is, after all… our True Nature :)

  • Molly

It is a joy for Molly to be able to offer the teachings of yoga as she knows first hand the positive impact this beautiful practice can have on mental health issues.

Yoga combined with breathwork has helped Molly transform her life. Her wish is to help others by normalising conversation around mental health and yoga. Molly trained as a yoga teacher in Goa, India where she spent time truly embodying the lifestyle of a yogi, early morning yoga asana practice followed by meditation, her time in India deepened her knowledge around ashtanga, vinyasa flow and restorative yoga allowing her to find her natural, nurturing style of teaching. Yoga for Molly is a healing experience. Her practice began on the mat with the postures and has gradually become so much more. Teaching with the approach "It isn't about what your practice looks like, but what it feels like". Sensation is everything!

Molly has found an inner strength and sense of peace which she uses to navigate her through life and wants to help people to do the same. Molly’s aim is to be a beacon of positivity and honesty for her students and to keep offering classes that nourish you from the inside out. Sending the message that yoga is for every-body and embracing all our differences. Yoga can create space in our minds, free up space in the body and there lies the path to find true connection.
